Role in the Realm
Alchemists study the unusual properties of plants, minerals, creature materials and other rare ingredients found throughout Aldoria.
Through careful experimentation they create mixtures, remedies and specialised concoctions while attempting to understand how different ingredients interact.
Their work often places them between scholarship and practical medicine, making cooperation with Gatherers, Hunters, Farmers and Healers especially valuable.
Skilled Alchemists may become sought after for difficult recipes or unusual substances that ordinary craftsmen cannot produce.
Profession System
Each character may have one Main Profession and one Hobby.
The Main Profession is the character’s primary working role and is the profession that can be levelled through progression, quests and tier rewards.
The Hobby is a secondary role chosen for additional roleplay and character flavour. Hobbies do not share the same progression benefits as Main Professions unless specifically stated.
A character may only have one Main Profession and one Hobby at a time.
