I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older.

Stage II

Character Persona & Lineage (IC)

Declare who your character is, their race, allegiance, Main Profession and any optional Hobby they pursue.

In Character

Character Full Name * Must be lore-appropriate for a medieval fantasy setting.

PLAYABLE RACE * Choose your character's primary race. Race variants are optional and may be selected separately where applicable.

RACE VARIANT Optional — choose a variant of your selected race if desired. Leave blank if you are not choosing a variant.

TRIBE NAME * I have not decided on a tribe name yet Enter the name of the tribe your character will belong to.

Intended Allegiance / Faction * You may alter your faction in-character as your story unfolds.

MAIN PROFESSION * Your character's primary trade. You may have only one Main Profession, which progresses through profession tiers and quests.

OPTIONAL HOBBY You may choose one Hobby alongside your Main Profession. Hobbies provide additional roleplay and services but do not replace or level like a Main Profession.

Character History & Motivation * Aim for at least 150 words. Strong backstories create compelling server interactions.

Stage III

Law Comprehension & Scenarios

Demonstrate your grasp of our core roleplay philosophies before entering.

Knowledge Check

Metagaming & Powergaming

Metagaming is using information your character has not learned through roleplay. You may only act on information your character could realistically know through what they have personally seen, heard, been told, or discovered in-game.

Powergaming is forcing actions, outcomes or advantages onto another player without giving them a fair opportunity to react, resist or respond.

Examples of powergaming include:

Automatically declaring another character unconscious, restrained, injured or killed without allowing them to react
Ignoring serious injuries or consequences that should realistically affect your character
Escaping restraints or situations in unrealistic ways
Performing actions your character could not reasonably accomplish
Using game mechanics to force an RP outcome that would otherwise require interaction
Creating an unrealistically overpowered character with no meaningful weaknesses or limitations

You may attempt an action, but you may not automatically decide the outcome for another player.

Give other players a fair chance to respond and allow the scene to develop naturally through roleplay.

Scenario 1: Metagaming Understanding * Metagaming ruins immersion and is strictly enforced.

Scenario 2: Powergaming Understanding * Powergaming removes meaningful choice from other players and is not permitted.

Stage IV

The Royal Oath

Confirm your commitment to the customs and laws of Aldoria.

Pledge

Adherence to Server Laws & Discord Rules I have read and pledge to follow all Aldoria RP Gameplay Rules and Discord Community Standards, including building restrictions, initiation requirements, and offline protection. Roleplay-First Mandate I understand that every action taken must have a genuine in-character motivation. Mechanical exploits, griefing, toxicity, and combat logging are grounds for immediate expulsion. Three-Life Permadeath & Character Registration I understand that characters possess three lives before suffering permanent death, and that I must register my character with the Crown within fourteen days of arriving.

Upon submitting, your application will be dispatched to the Royal Heralds. Join our Discord to track status and receive your whitelist role.
