Innkeepers operate the taverns, inns and public houses that act as social hubs throughout Aldoria.
Their establishments provide travellers with somewhere to rest, eat, drink, meet other characters and hear what is happening across the realm.
A successful Innkeeper can turn their establishment into one of the most active RP locations on the server.
Innkeepers may focus on:
- Operating a tavern or inn
- Renting rooms
- Serving meals and drinks
- Hosting Bards and entertainers
- Running feasts
- Hosting community events
- Providing meeting rooms
- Hosting faction gatherings
- Organising drinking games
- Creating menus
- Buying food from Farmers
- Buying fish from Fishermen
- Buying goods from Traders
- Hiring Artists to decorate the establishment
Innkeepers may charge for rooms, food, drinks or services according to the server economy.
The Innkeeper hobby is primarily about hospitality and social RP, rather than producing the raw ingredients themselves.
Choosing a Hobby
A character may choose one Main Profession and one Hobby. Hobbies provide additional roleplay and character flavour and do not share the same progression benefits as Main Professions unless specifically stated.
