Frontline heavy warriors committed to martial discipline, forged blades, arena combat, and war chief honors.
War Orcs descend from clans that built their societies around defence, martial training and clan loyalty. They are among the largest and most heavily built Orcs in Aldoria and are often found serving as guards, soldiers, caravan protectors and clan champions. Although outsiders sometimes assume all War Orcs are aggressive, their culture values discipline and responsibility far more than mindless violence.
War Orcs are usually broad, muscular and heavily built. Green, dark olive and muted grey-green skin tones are common, with prominent tusks and strong facial features. Scars are often worn without shame and may represent battles survived or duties fulfilled. Their clothing tends toward heavy leather, fur, metal plates and practical battle gear. Red, black and dark brown are common clan colours.
War Orcs are often direct, disciplined and protective. They tend to respect courage, honesty and reliability, and usually have little patience for empty boasting. Many prefer disputes to be settled clearly rather than allowed to grow through secrecy or manipulation.
Training, hunting, smithing, animal keeping and guarding form important parts of daily life. Young War Orcs are commonly taught weapon safety, tracking and settlement defence from an early age. Not every member of a clan becomes a warrior, but most are expected to know how to defend their home.
Clan loyalty is one of the strongest values in War Orc society. Oaths made before the clan are treated seriously, and abandoning companions during danger can bring lasting shame. Weapons, armour and trophies may be passed down through families, carrying the stories of previous generations.
War Orc settlements are usually fortified, with sturdy walls, lookout points and controlled entrances. Longhouses, training grounds, workshops and communal fires are common. Settlements are built for function first, often using timber, stone, hide and scavenged metal.
Weaponsmith, Armorsmith, Beast Master and Breeder are particularly common. Guards, hunters, soldiers, caravan protectors and clan champions also fit War Orc culture well.
War Orcs often respect Dwarves for their craftsmanship and Giants for their strength, though territorial disputes can occur. Goblins are common trading partners and camp followers. Humans and Elves are usually judged individually, especially in regions where old conflicts have left distrust on both sides.
