Overview
Forest Gnomes are Gnomish communities that have adapted their lives around Aldoria's woodlands. Their settlements are usually smaller and more concealed than those of other Gnomes, often built around streams, ancient trees, gardens and sheltered clearings.
They value practical knowledge of the natural world and frequently develop strong traditions surrounding farming, herbalism, animals and woodland craftsmanship.
Appearance
Forest Gnomes favour earthy greens, browns and natural fabrics. Practical cloaks, leather equipment, woven clothing and handmade jewellery are common.
Their physical appearance remains Gnomish and they should not be given Elf-like features purely because they live in forests.
Traits & Culture
Forest Gnome communities tend to value cooperation, self-sufficiency, careful use of natural resources and knowledge passed between generations.
Hunting, gardening, animal keeping, gathering and herbal knowledge are common cultural skills.
