Halflings are a small folk known for their quick hands, sharp instincts, and warm-hearted nature. Though physically modest, they thrive through cleverness, adaptability, and strong bonds within their villages. Most halflings prefer peaceful lives filled with harvest festivals, home-cooked meals, storytelling, and close-knit family traditions. Hidden beneath their cheerful demeanor is a race surprisingly resilient and difficult to break. Their size makes them naturally stealthy, allowing many to become skilled scouts, traders, herbalists, or wandering rogues.
Halflings often build cozy settlements tucked away in hillsides, forests, or river valleys, favoring safety and comfort over conquest. They dislike unnecessary conflict but can be fiercely protective of their homes and loved ones when threatened.
Halflings are among Aldoria’s smallest humanoid peoples, with short Human-like proportions, curly or wavy hair and youthful features. Clothing prioritises comfort through wool, linen, leather and warm colours.
